Learning How to get Rid of Blackheads

Many people deal with blackheads and pimples on their body.  For those wanting a solution on how to get rid of blackheads the following points might hold the answer.

Skin pores which become blocked with sebum will develop blackheads if treatment is not given, as the bacteria which causes pimples can use the clogged pores to breed, causing outbreaks of bad acne.

Following a daily skin care regime will help to avoid these outbreaks, clear up present skin problems and prevent future acne from flaring up.

The first thing people with skin problems should do is to stop using any oil based ointments or face creams and any abrasive agents or harsh chemicals, as these will further block pores by producing more oil.

Changing to products for face care which are water based is much friendlier to the skin as it minimizes oil build-up and reduces clogged pores. A washcloth soaked in warm water and then held to the face as a compression for a few minutes is one of the best ways of removing blackheads as it helps to open up the pores enough for the blackheads to be gently squeezed out.

Acne and blackheads are both produced by the skins natural oils, and both of these skin problems are able to be treated simply by making sure that a daily routine is followed which will reduce secretion of oils and cause further clogging of pores.

If possible, use a mild cleansing lotion followed by a gentle face scrub to remove dead cells and dirt. This will also prevent further appearances of bad acne and blackheads.

Once you have thoroughly cleansed your skin, apply a gentle non-comeogenic moisturizer which has been dermatologist recommended and which will help to give you clear skin, keep it soft and prevent it from drying out, which could cause other subsequent skin problems.
